Job descriptionOperate the various CNC machines within the machining value stream. Troubleshooting of programs, with minor editing as needed. Perform own set-ups and those of Machine Operator-LG 5 Train other associates. Review quality of junior machinists. Read and understand blueprints. Use measuring equipment such as scales, micrometers, PI tapes, optical comparators, and calipers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions. Participate in, and continuously improve, the facility's certification programs (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AS9100, etc.) to achieve plant goals and objectives. Maintain exceptional standards of quality and performance for Machinist Specialist. Performance : Will not have output that is more than 10% below the average attainment of all the operators of the same assigned area Other duties as assigned. Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery. 2nd Operation machining. Counting and kitting of components for shipment. Operate manual lathe and drill press as required. CNC turning lathes Manual Machines 2nd Operations equipment Measuring instruments Standard PC and Applications
