CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Aviation Team at our Winter Springs, FL office.

At CHA, the Project Manager works diligently to complete federal / military design projects within the scope, budget, and schedule. This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise. Our Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure. The professional in this role sells and develops work with specific clients including military pursuits, ultimately leading to a "seller / doer" dual role, by understanding our client's challenges, building partnerships with them, and providing creative solutions to those challenges.

The Project Manager coordinates contracts with the client, subcontractors, purchase orders, daily correspondence, and all other project related documents. This individual is responsible for all project financials, manages subcontractor payments, and communicates updates to the client, management, and project team during monthly project review meetings with operations.

Additionally, the Project Manager develops a specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and is responsible for verifying that airfield civil design and construction projects meet required QA / QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline specific engineering experience required
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with the proven ability to practically apply engineering best practices
• Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
• Familiar with QA / QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineering
• Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
• Proficiency with MS Office software required
• An active role in a professional engineering society / organization preferred
• Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects required
• Experience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management required
• Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships
• Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements
• Ability to track and oversee multiple projects required
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
• Knowledge of MS Project and / or Primavera P6 preferred
• Ability to travel as needed required
• Consulting industry experience highly preferred

Salary Range : $105,000 - $129,500

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
