Estimated Weekly Pay Range : $1820 - $1950 per week

Oncology RN Job Details

Location : York, Pennsylvania (17403) – Pennsylvania nursing jobs

Facility : 32-bed Oncology Telemetry Unit (7 South)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks – travel nursing contract

Start Date : December 15, 2025

Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Orientation : 8 hours (likely on dayshift)

Floating : May float to other med / surg units as needed

COVID-19 & Flu Vaccine : Required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Pennsylvania or compact state

ONS / ONCC Advanced Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate (Chemo Certified)

BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)

Competency in telemetry and oncology patient care required

EPIC charting experience required

Ability to care for COVID-19 patients if needed

Must be tobacco and fragrance free

Maximum of 7 days requested time off during contract

Oncology RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to adults and geriatrics with oncology, palliative, and end-of-life needs

Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy (continuous infusion and oral administration)

Monitor and manage chemotherapy side effects and complications (ATLS, anaphylaxis, extravasation injury, hemorrhage, sepsis, spinal cord compression)

Care for and manage ports, central lines, and implanted lines

Implement neutropenic precautions and manage symptoms (altered mental status, constipation / diarrhea, dysphagia, edema, nausea / vomiting, neuropathy)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, respiratory, pharmacy, social services)

Float to other medical-surgical units as needed

Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records
