Job description

Lead Civil Engineer Job Summary :

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Civil Engineer to oversee and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • The Lead Civil Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Manage multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously, including planning, design, construction, and closeout.
  • Develop and review project proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement and maintain quality control and assurance procedures.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to management and clients.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in civil engineering.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex civil engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
