Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57105 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2140 - $2290 Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 - End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Healthcare Setting : 30-bed medical surgical unit and 8-bed progressive care unit Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (Day / Night); every other weekend and holiday Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs Charting System : Epic EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Dakota RN license or compact state nursing license BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience Clinical skills in Bipap, Cpap, Heated High Flow, oxygen titration, moderate sedation, telemetry, and medical-surgical patient care Experience with Epic documentation, Alaris pumps, and Acudose medication systems preferred Ability to float to other Med-Surg units as needed RN Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality patient care for diagnoses including pneumonia, COPD, CHF, COVID-19, pulmonary embolism, and complex medical cases Administer oxygen therapy, IV medications, monitor moderate sedation, assist with bronchoscopies, chest tubes, tracheostomies, and both non-invasive and mechanical ventilation Perform cardiac monitoring and telemetry for medical-surgical patients Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Advocate for patient safety and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives Engage in unit-based committees and ongoing professional development Participate in comprehensive orientation and training programs Apply now to join our healthcare team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
