Proposal And Contracts Specialist
The Proposal and Contracts Specialist develops new proposal content, edits, and updates current content, and assists in producing and managing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from government entities. This may also include printing, assembling and shipping proposals that are not submitted electronically. Under direction from the Vice President of Operations, the Specialist performs technical writing and review of sales proposal, facilitating execution of resulting contracts, and other related documents using a variety of software tools and office applications.
In this role you will :
- Analyze RFP requirements and develop a clear understanding of the prospective client's needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other team members to gather information and insights to adequately respond to RFP questions.
- Write, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity, coherence, and compliance with RFP guidelines.
- Develop and maintain a library of proposal questions, answers, templates, standard content, and other resources.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Review and revise proposals based on feedback from internal stakeholders.
- Review industry trends, best practices, and competitive intelligence.
- Manage the contracting process with prospect upon award through full execution by both parties
- Manage existing client contract renewal and expiration dates
- Work with internal risk management team to provide requested certificates of insurance to clients.
