Position Overview

The Fractional Head of Product Innovation, Research & Development is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the end-to-end innovation lifecyclefrom ideation to market launch. This role ensures that the organization stays ahead of industry trends by identifying and executing high-impact innovation opportunities that align with business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a robust innovation pipeline, including ideation, product research, and go-to-market strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and market trends to identify strategic innovation opportunities and maintain competitive advantage.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment across departments and timely delivery of strategic initiatives within scope and budget.
• Coordinate R&D activities, including prototype creation, testing, and validation, ensuring solutions are both innovative and market-ready.
• Oversee the adoption of new technologies and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience.
• Implement industry-standard project management methodologies and tools to ensure transparency, stakeholder alignment, and consistent project execution.
• Conduct in-depth competitive product and market analyses to identify innovation gaps and opportunities for differentiation in target markets.
• Manage innovation-related budgets and resources, ensuring optimal allocation and maximum return on investment in support of long-term growth objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies, translating insights into actionable strategies that inform product development and innovation direction.
