Wing / Installation Support Agreement Manager
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Wing / Installation Support Agreement Manager, the Assistant to the Installation Deployment Officer (AIDO) and focal point for the War Reserve Material (WRM) program. Responsibilities include assisting the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO) with planning, organizing and implementing the Installation Deployment and Base Support and Expeditionary (BAS&E) Site Plans. Manages and administers the Installation Support Agreements Program. Manages and monitors the Wing War Reserve Material (WRM) Program. Assists the IDO with Contingency Planning, Wartime Training Exercises, Evaluations and Inspections.
Requirements include meeting specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Logistics Management Series, 0346. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes comprehensive knowledge of logistics management operations that involve wing-level planning, coordinating, or evaluating contingency support, logistics readiness deployment and execution, support agreement and war reserve materiel management, base / expeditionary support, sustainment, redeployment, mobility bags / small arms weapons, and logistics command and control. Work requires considerable skill in applying and integrating this knowledge to plan and accomplish a variety of complex work assignments and or to identify, analyze, and resolve logistics management issues or problems. In-depth knowledge of Integrated Deployment Systems (IDS) which include logistics management information systems necessary for planning and executing deployment operations ( e.g., Logistics Module (LOGMOD), Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Systems (DCAPES), AEF UTC Reporting Tool). Broad knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and precedents affecting deployment, base support, support agreement and war reserve material plans and programs.
Qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and / or competencies in the following areas : Knowledge of logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating contingency support, logistics readiness deployment and execution, support agreement and war reserve materiel management, base / expeditionary support, sustainment, redeployment, mobility bags / small arms weapons, and logistics command and control. Knowledge of Integrated Deployment Systems (IDS) which include logistics management information systems necessary for planning and executing deployment operations (e.g., Logistics Module (LOGMOD), Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Systems (DCAPES), AEF UTC Reporting Tool). Skill in analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting logistics readiness factors, and formulating procedural solutions to problems. Ability to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program. Ability to identify, analyze and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options concerning base readiness; Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
