Air Tactical Pilots are based at one of CAL FIRE remote bases by bid and may displace an employee in a lower classification by seniority per Article 8.8 and 8.9.

• Airplane, multi-engine : 800
• Mountain (typical terrain) : 200
• Instrument (total) : 75
• Instrument (actual) : 50
• Night : 100
• Make and model to be flown : 10
• One or more of the following :
• Aerial firefighting (PIC or Co-Pilot) : 500
• AME (>

6,000 lbs.) : 100

12,500 lbs.) : 50

Salary and Other Compensation : The hourly rate for this position is between $151.89 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include [geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.]
