Essential Functions and Duties

The Clinical Educator is a professional nurse who provides consultation to nursing personnel and conducts and coordinates educational experiences. The responsibilities encompass assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical skills development, in-services and continuing education programs at the Unit and / or Department level. The Clinical Educator possesses the clinical skills necessary to provide expert opinion and guidance to a select group of patients. The Nursing Education Clinical Coordinator keeps current bedside skills through regular patient care activities and assignments.

MINIMUM EDUCATION :

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
