PETERMAYER DesignShop is seeking a Designer / Associate Designer to join our team in New Orleans. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with art directors, creative directors, social strategists, and account managers to develop campaigns that meet specific objectives. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities.

Key skills include attention to detail, excellent design abilities, and compelling animation experience. Staying updated with industry best practices for digital and print materials is a plus. A collaborative mindset is essential. Please highlight any animation experience and include samples in your portfolio.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Assist in designing, optimizing, and managing design files across all media, primarily using Adobe Creative Suite, including resizing, fixing, updating, and preflighting deliverables. Ensure compliance with project amendments.
• Adjust technical / mechanical design features and perform photo retouching / image manipulation related to prepress needs. Deliver files / proofs as required.
• Enhance the efficiency of design workflows within the agency, managing multiple projects across departments.
• Stay informed about current industry trends and innovations.
