About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the overall direction of sales and marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives, managing both a direct sales team and an intercompany sales team, and coaching team members to meet individual and collective sales and profit targets. Key responsibilities include identifying sales territories, establishing sales personnel hiring profiles, recruiting and training new salespeople, setting sales targets, and creating effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise, and train sales personnel. The role also involves interacting with the sales team, visiting customers, and coordinating communication and sales activities to maximize revenues and support business needs. Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with a preference for a 2-4 year degree in business or culinary. A minimum of 7 years' experience in sales, merchandising, and management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, results-driven, and possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem-resolution skills.
