Litigation Paralegal

A large Law firm in Memphis, TN is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to conduct pre-claim investigations, legal research cases, draft pleadings, motions, docs for court assessment, aid in attorneys with interrogations requests and be the liaison between trial teams / third parties and provide assistance with case settlements

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in all stages of litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil procedure, excellent research and drafting skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. This role requires a proactive professional who can contribute to case strategy, document management, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Draft, proofread, and file legal documents including complaints, motions, subpoenas, and discovery responses

Assist with case development and strategy from inception through trial or settlement

Manage and organize discovery, including document production and review

Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel for scheduling and information exchange

Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys

Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and docketing systems

Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and jury instructions

Attend trials, hearings, or mediations to provide direct litigation support when needed

Organize and manage electronic and physical case files in compliance with firm protocols
