Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join our Client's team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership on complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with clients to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead engineer on projects, offering technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  • Partner with clients to understand their objectives and develop creative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Mentor and support junior staff in developing technical and professional skills.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of structural engineering experience .
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proven experience designing a variety of structures, including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, IBC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in drafting and design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, and EnerCalc; familiarity with BIM modeling tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of construction and safety practices; willingness to conduct site visits.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.

    Pay Details : $110,000.00 to $170,000.00 per year
