We’re expanding and seeking a Set-Up Specialist to run and fine-tune multi-spindle screw machines so our customers in the automotive, medical, and electrical sectors receive parts that hit spec the first time, every time.

A Day in the Role

You arrive at your cell, review the traveler and print, and map out your set-up on a Tornos or Acme multi‑spindle. You dial in tooling, adjust cams or controls, and run first‑piece inspection. Throughout the shift, you monitor cycle performance, make offsets, and keep the equipment in peak condition. When changeovers come, you move efficiently—documenting settings and returning the machine to production-ready status.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate multi‑spindle screw machines (Tornos, Acme, Gridley) to produce precision components.
• Run both manual and automated machine tools to meet tight tolerances and quality targets.
• Maintain and repair machine tools and related equipment to minimize downtime.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to define machining operations.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and ensure conformance to specification.
