Role Overview

Position : Filmmaker – Contractor, Remote
Up to 40 hours per week
Produce high-quality video content efficiently. Thrive in fast-paced environments and deliver polished results.

Responsibilities

Generate interesting video ideas, shoot short-form video clips, and write instructions based on guidelines.

Utilize professional camera and tripod for high-quality production.

Execute simple edits, including string-outs, trims, and exports, for quick turnaround.

Bring a creative eye to maximize resources and produce standout content.

Collaborate closely with our team to align on vision, style, and goals.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a filmmaker

Demonstrated ability to shoot compelling video (portfolio or reel required)

Basic editing skills in any standard software (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)

Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and with minimal supervision

Creative problem-solver who can adapt to different environments and challenges

Preferred Qualifications

A self-starter who loves to create

Light on their feet, with the ability to produce high-quality work in short timeframes

Excited to experiment, innovate, and deliver fresh visual ideas

Engagement Details

Hourly contractor for Mercor

Pay : Weekly via Stripe Connect

Fully remote and asynchronous
