Job descriptionProvide comprehensive care in hematology and oncology Manage outpatient clinical duties and participate in on-call rotations Ensure the highest standards of care in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor individualized treatment plans Utilize the Epic EMR system to document patient interactions and treatment outcomes Engage in continuous education and research activities to stay abreast of advancements in the field Must be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology Valid California medical license required Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician for a 240-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Sep 1, 2025, and involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. The role also requires availability for weekend on-call duties via phone on a 1 : 3 rotational basis. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in medical oncology with a strong background in hematology.
