Senior IV&V Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior IV&V Engineer (remote, part-time).

Key Responsibilities

Perform independent Verification and Validation (V&V) tasks as defined in IEEE 1012-2004 SIL 4

Conduct independent reviews of all software life-cycle artifacts and associated verification records

Execute independent verification and validation testing, ensuring compliance with SIL 4 standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field

Minimum 8+ years of software V&V or independent verification experience under safety-critical standards

Strong proficiency in Assembly-language review and analysis

Demonstrated experience with SIL 4 or equivalent safety-critical software integrity levels

Familiarity with legacy Intel ASM86 or 80C188EB development environments
