Shift : 24-hour in-house call (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 AM)

Call Structure : Single ED call schedule

EMR : Cerner

Duties & Case Types

Must have Full General Surgery + Trauma privileges

Endoscopy required - No local GI support

Typical scope volume : 0-2 per week (variable)

Trauma cases include :

Car accidents (Interstate 5 + rural roads)

Stabbings, shootings

Quads, motorcycles, horses, swimming injuries

Requirements

California License - Required

DEA & ATLS - Required

ATLS accepted if previously certified

Additional Info

Average Trauma Volume : 800 trauma cases / year
