About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year cardiac cath lab experience; EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred

License : Licensed Radiologic Technologist

Certifications : ARRT, BLS, RCIS required

Must-Have :

• Cardiac cath lab experience
• EPIC charting experience
• Experience with pacemaker devices, ablations, ICD insertions
• Experience with structural heart procedures

Description :

This position requires advanced practice in cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography.

The tech will perform electrophysiologic studies and therapeutic interventional procedures.

They will assist in cardiac device implantation procedures while providing peri-procedural care and education for patients.

The tech will work closely with cardiologists and other specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation for procedures is essential.

The environment is fast-paced and high-acuity, with approximately 20 patients seen daily across the labs.

The facility has two electrophysiology labs and five catheterization labs.

Structural heart procedures performed may include Watchman’s procedures, TAVR, and Mitraclips.
