Responsibilities Work primarily in a hospital-based computerized tomography (CT) unit Shifts are from 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM with every other weekend required Block scheduling may be available based on department needs Opportunities to float to a nearby sister hospital may be required Patient care includes procedural and structural heart experience Duties may extend to performing general radiology exams as needed PACS and RIS are utilized for imaging and record-keeping Primary responsibilities include performing CT scans, administering IV contrast with power injectors, and assisting radiologists with complex sterile procedures Role involves preparing and stocking procedure rooms and engaging in patient education Must consistently demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork skills Compliance with all safety protocols for radiation and infection prevention is required Documentation and image management must be completed in PACS and RIS Required to complete any assigned training or orientation and maintain continued medical education hours Dress code and appropriate use of PPE must be followed per facility policy Any requests for time off must be discussed prior to assignment start Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience required Active MI license required if applicable ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology and Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible Current AHA BLS certification required High school diploma or GED required Must complete online modules and receive a passing score prior to start Must be willing to occasionally lift and move equipment or patients over 10 lbs COVID vaccination is mandatory as per current policy Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624432.
