Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, improve, and document manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate closely with quality and manufacturing teams to implement measurement and process control techniques.
• Design and develop tooling and processes to ensure effective and efficient production methods.
• Work with vendors to develop specifications for tooling, equipment, parts, or materials.
• Assist operations in estimating staffing requirements, production times, and costs to provide data.
• Design and develop structured processes for improvement and coordinate product / process changes.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of tool drawings and equipment design concepts.
• Provide engineering support to the production department to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.

Work Environment

This role is exclusively for the 2nd shift (1-9pm) in a recently remodeled facility featuring a game room area and an extremely clean manufacturing environment. You will gain valuable experience overseeing a fast-paced manufacturing process where the product directly affects lives. Our team consists of six manufacturing engineers who collaborate to tackle various projects. The work involves approximately 80% on the floor responding to machines and setups, with 20% desk work. Dress code is casual, reflecting our commitment to a comfortable yet professional work atmosphere. Expect an environment that encourages learning and development, as well as an opportunity to convert old work instructions to current standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00 / hr.
