Job description

Large Manufacturing Company located in Jackson Michigan is looking for a Raw Materials Buyer that has worked in a Plant Manufacturing Environment

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a group of Raw Materials Sub-Commodities for metal, aluminum and steel products
  • Develop, implement and improve purchasing strategies on Raw Materials, tools and techniques in order to maximize the company’s results;
  • Work with cross functional Team with the facility's Operations, Quality and Logistics departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years working as a Buyer in a Manufacturing Plant Environment
  • OR
  • Associates Degree with 5+ years working as a Buyer in a Manufacturing Plant Environment
