What You’ll Do

  • Layout, Design and program PLC-based automation systems from the ground up
  • Connect PLCs to control panels and cabinets with precision and creativity
  • Integrate PLCs with industrial networks and lower-level electronics like PCBs
  • Integrating HMIs and different types of software into the over control system
  • Create detailed system documentation, BOMs, part lists, and startup run sheets
  • Collaborate with a tight-knit team of engineers who value clarity, curiosity, and craftsmanship

What You Bring

  • Strong command of PLC Programming and Ladder Logic
  • Proficiency in Electrical AutoCAD
  • Experience spec’ing and building automation systems, including :

    • PLC connectivity to industrial networks (e.g., Ethernet / IP, Modbus, Profibus)

  • PLC integration with PCBs and embedded electronics
  • Control panel and cabinet design and assembly
  • a BSEE or a BS in Computer Engineering, Physics or a related Engineering area is preferred.

    • Bonus points for experience in :

    Systems documentation and startup procedures

  • Bill of materials and part list creation
