As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Missouri City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic food and beverage distribution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you engage with visitors and employees, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and / or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgement and communication skills.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the food and beverage facility.

Observe for hazards, unusual activity, or conditions that may require intervention, and report findings according to established protocols.

Assist visitors, employees, and vendors with directions and general inquiries to promote a positive experience at the location.

Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to report incidents, escalate concerns, and document relevant activities as required.

Minimum Requirements :

Candidates must have at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Candidates must have at least one year of security-related experience.

An armed guard card or license is required in accordance with applicable laws and / or regulations.

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
