\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) with a minimum of 1 year of experience to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The nurse will work independently and must be comfortable with a range of patient diagnoses and emergency situations.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Provide care to patients in a general emergency department setting.

    • \n

  • Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure.

    • \n

  • Administer medications, including continuous IV paralytics and vasopressors.

    • \n

  • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and perform 12 lead EKG / ECG when necessary.

    • \n

  • Conduct phlebotomy and IV therapies, including starting and maintaining IVs.

    • \n

  • Monitor and administer procedural sedation and emergency medications.

    • \n

  • Adhere to isolation precautions and manage orthopedic applications such as splints.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an emergency room setting (working independently).

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.

    • \n

  • Experience with Epic charting system preferred.

    • \n

  • Preferred skills : IV therapy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management.
