Note

• ASSIGNMENT LENGTH : For now until 3 / 31 / 26. Could result in possible conversion to FTE
• PLACEMENT TYPE : Contract
• SCHEDULE / REMOTE FLEXIBILITY : on site 2 days per week. however, could possibly explore remote for the right candidate (come to Newark only 1x per month)
• WORK HOURS : 9-5pm, 30min lunch, or 9-5 : 30, 1hr lunch
• HOURS PER WEEK : 37.5
• CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT : None. Background in Customs Compliance, supply chain management, logistics, international trade, or a related field is preferred.
• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT : College or minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, import / export operations, or a similar role within a fast-paced corporate environment.
• PREFERRED INTERVIEW TIMES : Tues-Wed, we are on site.
• TEAM SIZE : 2

The expectation for a successful candidate is to be accurate in data entry, possess strong comprehension, organizational and analytical skills, with desire and potential to grow.

n US Imports Support - 2 hours & 30 min

n US Exports Support – 1 hour & 30 min

n Canadian Imports Support – 1 hour & 30 min

Inbound Report (from emails between carriers and Canadian broker's reporting + validate with reporting from PPNDA's CARM)

n Classification Database – 30 min (from PLSA reporting and emails with factory)

n Recordkeeping – 1 hour (from emails from factories, UPS origin, Fed Ex origin, Client export Dept., PLSA, Fed Ex & UPS portals)

Compensation :

The hourly rate for this position is between $28.00-$32.00 per hour.
