Location : Harrison Township, NJ (08062)

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Emergency Room

Nursing Shift : Every other weekend or 3 weekends per month, per department needs

Start Date : November 17, 2025

Holiday Requirement : None

RTO : Maximum 3 days accepted

Block Scheduling / Special Requests : Not permitted

Hourly Pay Rate : $86.49 / hr

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2790-$2930

Emergency Room Nurse Qualifications

BSN required

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience

Previous travel nursing experience (at least one completed contract assignment)

High-volume, fast-paced ER experience preferred

Active New Jersey RN License or Compact Nursing License

Current certifications : AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (all must be valid; pending or expiring within 30 days not accepted)

ER RN Responsibilities – Clinical Support

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a busy Emergency Department

Conduct assessments, triage, and interventions for acute and emergent conditions

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital policies

Participate in unit-based orientation and complete required training modules

Follow all departmental protocols and compliance standards

Orientation : Full participation in both virtual and in-person orientation is required. Failure to complete orientation will result in immediate termination. Badge ID must be obtained in person during orientation week.
