Position : Mechanical Designer (SolidWorks)

Location : Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom / Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer (SolidWorks) to join our team. The position will be located in Nashua, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Work closely with product development engineers to create high speed cable product CAD models as per their input and feedback
• Employ best modeling practices and advanced feature techniques to capture design intent, and to facilitate design changes and data reuse (expanding design concepts into product families and derivatives)
• Create and maintain internal and customer CAD drawings of components and assemblies
• Participate in design reviews, interface with Development, Mechanical and Signal Integrity, and Process Engineers
