Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 2 years of cath lab experience, active ARRT or CCI certification, and proficiency in scrubbing for travel assignments. Responsibilities Work in a cardiac catheterization lab environment, floating to multiple campuses within the same health system Patient population includes adults requiring cardiac cath, structural heart, and EP procedures Procedures may include cardiac catheterization, structural heart interventions, and electrophysiology studies Call coverage and weekend / holiday shifts required as part of the schedule Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience preferred Floating across campuses required as needed and may include various cardiac units based on skillset Travelers must be willing to float to all campuses within their skillset as part of their assignment Winter holiday coverage requires working at least 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) Requests for time off are limited to 1 day between 11 / 26-11 / 30 and 12 / 23-1 / 2 Dress code and scrub color requirements will be provided by the facility Prior employees may be subject to a review of past employment history for eligibility Proof of COVID vaccination or approved exemption is a condition of employment Requirements At least 2 years of recent cath lab experience required Active ARRT or CCI certification required; license required if applicable BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required and must be current Must be able to scrub independently and proficiently Structural heart experience strongly preferred EP experience preferred Travel experience required Epic EMR charting experience preferred Must be willing to take call and work scheduled holidays COVID vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions considered One supervisory reference from the past 2 years required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610677.
