Accounting Manager-Credit

As our Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting financial reporting and operational excellence across multiple business areas. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Accounting, you will partner with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, and optimized accounting processes.

In this role, you will manage month-end close activities, oversee tariff reviews and analysis, lead financial reporting for specific business entities (including our Canada operations), and support continuous improvements across accounting systems and policies.

Manage month-end general ledger close in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.

Oversee financial reporting and reconciliation activities for corporate office expenses, our clients offics in Canada, and Direct Tax.

Lead tariff reviews and analysis, ensuring compliance with global trade policies and accurate cost allocation across product categories.

Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports to support business decision-making.

Support the S / 4HANA implementation, ensuring accurate data migration and testing of new financial processes.

Identify risks and process gaps, implement key internal controls, and drive continuous improvement in accounting operations.

Liaise with external auditors and support audit deliverables.

Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to improve internal controls, risk management, and reporting efficiency.

Define and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across business units.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA, CA, or MBA preferred.

~5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within retail, beauty, or consumer goods.

~ Hands-on experience with tariff reviews, customs compliance, and cost analysis preferred.

~ Proficiency with SAP (experience with S / 4HANA a plus).

~ Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, macros).

~ Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage competing priorities effectively.
