Assistant Controller, Colorado

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller-Accounting Services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership for accounts payable, travel, and payroll functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in processes

Oversee staff hiring, development, and performance appraisals while promoting process improvements and compliance with policies

Research complex accounting issues and provide guidance on GAAP and regulatory compliance for financial reporting

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance

14 years of experience in a related field, or 12 years with a Master's degree, or 9 years with a PhD

Thorough working knowledge of GAAP

Strong computer skills, particularly in business solutions software and advanced Excel

Ability to hold confidential information and meet critical deadlines
