Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing specialized support as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), this full-time contract position offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the development of students in an elementary school setting.

Detroit, MI

Assignment Details :

• Duration : 6-8 weeks, starting in January
• Setting : One school serving approximately 50 students (K-12)
• Employment type : Full-time contract

Responsibilities :

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of students in an educational environment
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assess students functional abilities and provide interventions that support their educational goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student wellness

Qualifications :

• Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting
• Strong munication skills and ability to work within a collaborative environment
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and prioritize student needs
