Job descriptionControl access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points. Assist with visitor and vehicle management, including logging arrivals and departures as required by site-specific policies. Provide customer service by responding to questions and supporting employees, visitors, and guests with security-related procedures. Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity by conducting regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and location-specific protocols. Document observations, incidents, and activities in a clear and timely manner as required by site guidelines. Support emergency response activities as needed, collaborating with local staff and Allied Universal leadership. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Logistics Access Point
As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Point in Carlisle, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by managing entry points, monitoring access, and conducting regular patrols. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment for people and property. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting our commitment to putting people first and operating with integrity.
