Job descriptionConduct research utilizing the Mara Hyena Project's long-term data on behavioral ecology and related fields Establish an independent or collaborative research program with faculty members Oversee research projects and train research assistants at the Mara Hyena Project site Prepare permitting applications and reports for local authorities and stakeholders Collaborate with MHP scientists to produce manuscripts and present research findings at conferences Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology or a related field by the start date Minimum of 2 years of graduate or post-doctoral research experience in relevant biological fields Evidence of a plan for future research initiatives Experience teaching and / or mentoring undergraduates Commitment to fostering inclusivity and student success in a diverse learning environment Experience collecting field data from free-living mammalian carnivores Molecular and / or physiological expertise to enhance research capabilities Familiarity with Microsoft Access and complex database management Proven collaboration in research and / or teaching activities Dedication to professional development in the field of biology
