Responsibilities
Conduct research utilizing the Mara Hyena Project's long-term data on behavioral ecology and related fieldsEstablish an independent or collaborative research program with faculty membersOversee research projects and train research assistants at the Mara Hyena Project sitePrepare permitting applications and reports for local authorities and stakeholdersCollaborate with MHP scientists to produce manuscripts and present research findings at conferencesQualifications
Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology or a related field by the start dateMinimum of 2 years of graduate or post-doctoral research experience in relevant biological fieldsEvidence of a plan for future research initiativesExperience teaching and / or mentoring undergraduatesCommitment to fostering inclusivity and student success in a diverse learning environmentPreferred Qualifications
