As we continue to grow, we are seeking a  Fire Suppression Design Engineer  to join our in-office team in  Deer Valley, AZ . This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer looking for a long-term role in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design complex fire sprinkler systems (residential, commercial, TI, and industrial)

Create hydraulic calculations and system sizing

Collaborate with estimating, project management, fab shop, and field teams

Ensure all designs meet local / state building codes and NFPA standards

Use CAD-based tools (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, AutoSprink) to develop fire protection layouts

Conduct site surveys and attend coordination meetings as needed

Submit plans and ensure compliance with general contractor specs

Produce detailed fabrication / shop drawings and materials lists

Qualifications

NICET Level III certification (or minimum  5 years of fire sprinkler design experience )

Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, 22, and 25

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, AutoSprink, or similar)

Experience with BIM coordination and 3D modeling workflows

Excellent reading and interpretation of blueprints, specs, and fire codes

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Must pass post-offer drug screen and background check
