Setting : Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

Contract Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 9, 2026

Shift : Day shifts, 4x10-hour (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,320 - $2,490

Employment Type : Travel RN contract

Parking : On campus, no shuttle required

Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)

COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active DC RN license (pending accepted; must be in hand prior to start)

ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and EP Lab procedures

Proficiency with Cardio Lab, Medconnect, Zoll, and Life Pak equipment

Previous travel nursing experience required

Preferred : Experience in Trauma Level I or II healthcare facilities

Two supervisor references required

Ability to provide clinical support for adult and geriatric patient populations

EP Lab RN Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care in the EP Lab, including circulating and documentation

Support pre- and post-procedure patient care in EP holding areas

Assist with advanced cardiac procedures : permanent pacemaker insertions, bi-ventricular implants, cardiac ablations, laser lead extractions, loop recorders, cardioversion, watchman, epicardial VT, afib cryoballoon ablations, and venoplasty

Interpret and manage cardiac arrhythmias and dysrhythmias

Administer and monitor procedural sedation, emergency medications, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, IV vasopressors, and thrombolytics

Assist with central line insertion and management

Utilize advanced cardiac mapping and conduction study techniques

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care

No weekend, holiday, or on-call shifts required
