Job Title: Bartender
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt/Part-Time
Reports To: General Manager/Management Team
Work Schedule: 20-30 hours per week
Salary Range: Minimum + Tips
Position Summary: A bartender is responsible to extend exceptional customer service to guests dining in the lounge; prepare drinks for guests in both the lounge and the dining room and prepare all bar mixes, garnishes and purees;

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Possesses excellent communication skills
- Has ability to ‘sell’
- Guides guests through the menu while demonstrating thorough knowledge of food, beverage and ingredients
- Takes accurate orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet and exceed guest expectations
- Provides friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return
- Prepares mixed drinks according to company recipe, pour wine or beer, serve bottled or soft drinks.
- Monitors guests’ behavior while purchasing or consuming alcohol to stay within the Alcohol Beverage Control Rules and Regulations
- Takes drink orders through servers or directly from guests
- Interacts in courteous and professional manner with Guests, management and co-workers
- Completes opening and closing duties as assigned
- Possesses current CA Food Handler’s Certification
- Possesses current Alcohol Safety Certification
