Licensed Veterinary Technician - Internal Medicine

Internal Medicine department in busy referral hospital is seeking an LVT / experienced veterinary technician to join our team. The position is for Monday- Friday : 9am- 5pm (we would consider 4 x 10hr shifts). No nights, No weekends. An ideal candidate is a licensed tech, a vet tech student or a very experienced veterinary assistant. A typical day includes assisting with exams, ultrasounds and diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, bronchoscopy, CT scan, rhinoscopy, etc, as well as client communication and education, anesthesia induction / monitoring / recovery, venipuncture, catheter placement, nursing care, and radiographs. Strong communication skills, medical record keeping, customer service skills and ability to work on a team are a must Job Type : Full-Time Pay : Starting at $28 / hr for LVT's- pay commensurate with experience
