Job Title – OT Systems Administrator
Location – On-site in Castle Rock, CO
Role Type – Direct Hire (Full-Time)
Must Have Skills :
- Server Management Expertise : Proven ability to set up, configure, and manage servers supporting SCADA environments, including paired servers across multiple plant sites.
- VMware Administration : Strong experience with VMware virtual environments, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance for reliable SCADA operations.
- Active Directory Management : Hands-on experience managing Active Directory, including user accounts, permissions, and security policies for new and existing employees.
- SCADA Software Familiarity : Working knowledge of SCADA-related software (such as FactoryTalk and Ignition), particularly with updates, firmware management, and troubleshooting.
- Networking as a Plus : Exposure to networking (switches, communications, firewalls) to provide support for the Network Engineer when server workload is light.
Responsibilities and Job Details :
Provide daily server support for the SCADA system within Castle Rock WaterManage and regularly test OT disaster recovery and business continuity plansPerform preventative maintenance and apply patch updates across server infrastructureServe as backup support for network security technologies including firewalls and wireless access pointsPlan and implement virus protection strategies and proceduresDocument and enforce standardized server configurations and provide cross-training to Instrument and Control TechniciansDeliver second-level support for complex server and network issuesOversee VMware infrastructure, SAN, Active Directory, DNS, SQL Server, and CRW / SCADA domain hardwareImplement and maintain OT solutions aligned with modern security architecturesCollaborate closely with the IT security team to support cybersecurity frameworks and zero trust principlesConduct risk assessments and perform regular vulnerability scanningStay up to date with industry trends and contribute to continuous improvements in system performance and security
