Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year of experience working independently in a general emergency department setting with mixed acuity levels.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room.

Conduct assessments, triage patients and manage patient care during their visit.

Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products as required.

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Implement isolation precautions as necessary.

Manage and care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Minimum of 1 year ER experience (first-timers accepted).

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required.

Expertise in phlebotomy, central line care, and IV management.

Experience with emergency medications and procedural sedation administration preferred.

Knowledge of CVA protocols and interpretation of diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG / ECG) is a plus.
