Experienced Field Investigator – SIU Claims

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking an experienced and motivated Field Investigator to join our team. The position may involve in-person or field work as part of the claims process and requires the ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and determine appropriate disposition of all types of claims arising out of the Company's business.
• Provide customer service to agents, insureds and others in the course of handling claims to their conclusion.
• Meet with people involved with claims. Occasionally this may be outside our office environment.
• Serve as a trainer / resource for branch associates in the Claims Department as needed.
• Analyze and investigate to identify issues which may warrant additional investigation.
