Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology or as a Radiologic Technologist preferred

Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) certification required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Experience working with age-specific patient populations : Neonatal / Infant, Pediatrics, Adolescence, Young Adult / Adult, Middle-aged Adult, and Geriatric

Ability to obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days

Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

Perform radiographic examinations following established clinical protocols

Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures and operate large C-arm and O-arm under surgeon direction

Verify patient identity and review exam orders for accuracy

Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members

Maintain compliance with department policies, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards

Utilize HIS and PACS systems for accurate patient documentation

Monitor supply inventory and keep exam and dressing rooms organized

Demonstrate principles of Just Culture and organizational values

Perform other duties as assigned
