PRIMARY FUNCTIONS :
Serving as the lead physician for designated service lines, fostering improvements in workflows and care quality.
Supervising assigned psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.
Conducting peer reviews and participating in the preceptorship of Psychiatry Residents and Nurse Practitioner students.
Reviewing incident reports, medical policies and collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to meet regulatory standards and enhance quality outcomes.
Assisting in preparation for regulatory site surveys alongside Behavioral Health Leadership.
Offering expert consultation to the team on complex cases in collaboration with site directors.
Advocating for the expansion of Medication Assisted Treatment across clinical sites.
Engaging in scheduled practice management and behavioral health leadership meetings.
Being available to review and sign treatment plans, including therapy-only cases. Attend behavioral health leadership meetings (including some in-person).
Collaborating with Behavioral Health site directors and nursing leadership to develop workflows that enhance patient outcomes, safety, and quality of care.
Compensation : $300,000 - $310,000 per year
