Responsibilities
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in Generative AI to lead the design and development of next-generation AI applications. This is a hands-on, architecture-driven role for a seasoned technologist who thrives in regulated environments and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and intelligent systems.
- Architect and build production-grade Generative AI applications using modern agentic and multi-agent design patterns.
- Independently develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and prototypes to validate new ideas and technologies.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines, integrating LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
- Ensure AI systems meet privacy, governance, and compliance standards, especially in highly regulated industries such as finance.
- Evaluate and select appropriate GenAI platforms based on project needs.
- Lead architectural reviews and influence enterprise-wide technology decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor engineers and promote a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, evaluation frameworks, and industry trends.
Qualifications

Strong communication skills with the ability to evangelize and justify architectural decisions.Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks preferred, not required.Familiarity with cloud-native AI development and MLOps practices preferred, not required.Contributions to open-source AI projects or published research in the field preferred, not required.Experience
Proven experience building and deploying Generative AI applications in production.Deep understanding of agentic architectures, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration.Demonstrated ability to code independently and build PoCs from scratch.12+ years of experience in software engineering, including roles as a developer, architect, and test engineer.Proficiency in Python (essential for GenAI) and strong experience in C# or Java.Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare), with a strong grasp of data privacy, governance, and compliance.Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for LLMs and AI systems.Hands-on experience with multiple GenAI platforms, such as Azure AI Foundry, Databricks Mosaic AI, or similar.What We Offer
