Job descriptionStrong communication skills with the ability to evangelize and justify architectural decisions. Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks preferred, not required. Familiarity with cloud-native AI development and MLOps practices preferred, not required. Contributions to open-source AI projects or published research in the field preferred, not required. Proven experience building and deploying Generative AI applications in production. Deep understanding of agentic architectures, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration. Demonstrated ability to code independently and build PoCs from scratch. 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including roles as a developer, architect, and test engineer. Proficiency in Python (essential for GenAI) and strong experience in C# or Java. Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare), with a strong grasp of data privacy, governance, and compliance. Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for LLMs and AI systems. Hands-on experience with multiple GenAI platforms, such as Azure AI Foundry, Databricks Mosaic AI, or similar. Responsibilities
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in Generative AI to lead the design and development of next-generation AI applications. This is a hands-on, architecture-driven role for a seasoned technologist who thrives in regulated environments and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and intelligent systems.
- Architect and build production-grade Generative AI applications using modern agentic and multi-agent design patterns.
- Independently develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and prototypes to validate new ideas and technologies.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines, integrating LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
- Ensure AI systems meet privacy, governance, and compliance standards, especially in highly regulated industries such as finance.
- Evaluate and select appropriate GenAI platforms based on project needs.
- Lead architectural reviews and influence enterprise-wide technology decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor engineers and promote a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, evaluation frameworks, and industry trends.
