Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare opportunity is available in Montgomery, AL for a skilled surgical professional with expertise in various surgical specialties. This contract position requires strong experience in trauma (excluding burns), neuro, general, vascular, ENT, orthopedic spine, orthopedic with total joint experience, gynecology, endovascular vascular, urology, robotics (both general and neuro), plastics, breast, and eye procedures. Candidates with robotic surgery experience using Mazor or DaVinci XI systems are highly preferred.

Candidates do not need to be certified surgical technicians, but certification is preferred. This role offers direct support from an Operating Room Assistant (ORA), desk assistants, floor aids, charge nurses, and dedicated team leaders for different service lines.

Key surgical technology and equipment used include Cerner EMR, Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing systems, and Spacelabs monitors. Orientation involves two weeks of day shifts with an expectation to take buddy call, facilitating a smooth transition into the team.

Scheduling includes a weekend on-call rotation, approximately one day each week and one weekend per month, as well as a holiday work expectation per contract. Shift options range between early mornings and evenings, specifically 6 : 30 AM5 : 00 PM, 6 : 30 AM3 : 00 PM, 12 : 30 PM11 : 00 PM, and 6 : 30 AM7 : 00 PM, with schedules adjusted according to departmental needs. Scrub attire will be provided (green color).

Qualifications :

• Strong surgical experience in trauma, neuro, ortho (total joints required), vascular, gyn, robotic, plastics, and other specialties outlined above
• Experience with surgical robotics (Mazor / DaVinci XI) highly preferred
• Certification preferred but not required
• fortable with EMR (Cerner) and surgical technology listed
• Ability to work weekend on-call and holidays as required
• Excellent teamwork and munication skills
