Position Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients, creating a warm and professional first impression
• Complete patient intake, document history, and initiate chart notes
• Scribe for providers during patient exams
• Assist with medical and cosmetic procedures (biopsies, excisions, cosmetic treatments)
• Accurately document in the EMR system
• Answer phones and assist patients with clinical questions and concerns
• Communicate with insurance companies and pharmacies for prior authorizations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting (required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to be cross-trained and eager to learn
• Dermatology experience preferred
• Scribing experience and familiarity with medical terminology & prior authorizations a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a plus, but not required
