Job Description

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with Mammography privileges to join our outpatient clinic in Grass Valley, California. This role includes reading studies of all modalities, as well as performing diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies. The position offers a flexible part-time schedule, requiring coverage for one week every other month for up to 6-9 months.

Job Responsibilities

Interpret mammography studies in accordance with MQSA Standards

Perform breast biopsies and read PET, CT, MRI, and other radiological studies

Collaborate with radiology techs, US techs, and other support staff

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology

Must hold a valid CA state license

Residency completed; fellowship not required

BLS / ACLS and DEA certifications required

Maintain qualifications for mammography studies

Working Hours

Coverage required for one week every other month

Shift times : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

No call required

Skills

Proficient in diagnostic mammograms and conducting breast biopsies

Strong ability to read various imaging studies

Effective communication with healthcare teams and patients
