About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Hours per Shift : Three 12-hour shifts per week

License : RRT
Certifications : BLS
Must-Have : Adult, Pediatric and / or Neonatal critical care experience is a plus
Description :
This position involves the administration of various respiratory care procedures.
Key duties include the use of nebulizers, inhalers, and administering oxygen therapy.
Other responsibilities consist of airway clearance, tracheostomy changes, and managing ventilators.
Experience with BiPAP and CPAP devices, as well as overnight oximetry, is required.
The department utilizes computerized charting through the One Chart system and an Accudose medication dispensing system.
Equipment includes Avea and Hamilton ventilators, V-60 BiPAP, SiPAP, Oscillator, Jet Vent, metaneb, and Aerogen.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Required certifications include RRT and BLS.
This role may require working weekends and holidays.
Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
The care setting is acute, focusing on adult critical care.
