MR. FRIENDLY is looking for an Assistant Store Manager who knows the in’s and out’s of running a brick and mortar business. MR. FRIENDLY’s priority has always been exceptional customer service first and foremost, and we are looking for someone who can continue that legacy for external and internal customers alike.
- ? Responsibilities :
Customer Care (50%)
- Provide thoughtful, solution-driven support to pet owners
- Conduct in-person and remote consultations
- Drive loyalty through clienteling and conversion
Team Leadership (30%)
- Help develop, coach, and empower a 4–5 person floor team
- Delegate tasks while reinforcing MR. FRIENDLY’s collaborative culture
- Navigate challenges with calm, New Yorker-style confidence
Daily Operations (20%)
- Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Manage inventory lifecycle from receiving to replenishment
- Maintain store-wide visual standards and time management flows
✅ Requirements :
Able to lift 35+ lbs.
- Prior experience in retail and / or hospitality preferred
- Must provide 2 professional references
- Proven background in leadership or management roles
